THIS DOCUMENTARY TELLS THE STORY OF A FIERY PERSONALITY, WILLING TO BE THE FIRST EVERYWHERE, THE WINNER OF THE CYCLING RACE, FLYING THE PLANE OR CHASING THE GIRLS AT ANY PRICE. THIS IS ALSO THE STORY ABOUT TWO BROTHERS, WHO FIRST FLEW WITH THEIR OWN AIRPLANE IN NOVEMBER 1909. THOSE WERE THE TIMES OF THE INITIAL AND HESITATING AIR JUMPS, NOT AT ALL FLIGHTS. EDVARD'S BROTHER JOSIP CALLED HIS ATTENTION TO THE DEFICIENCIES OF THE PLANE'S STRUCTURE. JOSIP ALWAYS HELPED EDVARD UNSELFISHLY AS ANALYSER, CONSTRUCTOR, MECHANIC, STAYING IN EDVARD'S SHADOW. JUST BEFORE INTERNATIONAL SUCCESS, IN A VERY INAPPROPRIATE MOMENT, EDVARD'S CHARACTER TURNED JOSIP AWAY FROM HIS BROTHER FOREVER. AT THAT TIME THE PATENT FOR THE AIRPLANE COULD ONLY BE OBTAINED BY THE MILITARY INDUSTRY, THUS ACHIEVING THE ADVANTAGE OF ARMAMENTS IN TURBULENT CIRCUMSTANCES JUST BEFORE THE 1ST WORLD WAR. Zgodba o ognjenem značaju, ki hoče biti v vsaki stvari prvi, zmagovalec, pa naj bo to na kolesarski tekmi, v letenju z letali ali v letanju z dekleti in to ne glede na ceno. Zgodba o dveh bratih, ki sta že novembra leta 1909 prvič poletela z lastnim letalom v času, ko so letalski sodobniki po celem svetu delali prve, začetniške in obotavljive letalske skoke, sploh še ne polete. Zgodba o napakah narejenih pri konstrukciji letala, na kar je Edvarda že prej opozarjal brat Josip, ki mu je nesebično stal ob strani kot analitik, konstruktor, mož v senci, mehanik. In ga je zaradi svojega značaja Edvard ravno v nepravem trenutku, tik pred mednarodnim uspehom, za vedno odvrnil od sebe. Zgodba o času, ko se lahko do patenta letala dokoplje vojaška industrija in s tem dobi oborožitveno prednost v nemirnem času pred prvo svetovno vojno. Napeta, raziskovalna, značajska in detektivska študija izhajajoča iz tragičnega konca.
